Turning Expertise Into Trust
Challenge
Manhattan Gastroenterology had built one of the strongest organic search presences in New York City, ranking highly for many core services and attracting significant website traffic. The opportunity was to protect that visibility while deepening patient engagement and conversion. Through our research, we found that people that searched for GI symptoms often felt anxious, embarrassed, or unsure about when to seek care. In a multicultural city like New York, the messaging also needed to feel clear, respectful, and human across audiences.

Strategy
We developed a messaging and video strategy grounded in patient research, designed to help prospective patients feel informed, reassured, and ready to move forward.
Our approach focused on:
- Understanding patient pain points: Studying GI care concerns, from anxiety and embarrassment to confusion about symptoms and procedures.
- Defining the message: Developing positioning, values, and a tagline around warmth, expertise, access, and trust.
- Reflecting New York’s diversity: Shaping content for a multicultural patient base with messaging that felt clear, inclusive, and human.
- Increasing site engagement: Using high production video to give patients meaningful reasons to stay on the site, explore services, and convert.
- Showing warmth and credibility: Capturing providers, staff, and the office environment so patients could see care behind the expertise.
- Building a scalable ecosystem: Creating a hero film supported by educational videos, testimonials, website, YouTube, email, social, and paid advertising.
Results
The strategy turned Manhattan Gastroenterology’s visibility into a stronger patient engagement opportunity. Messaging, tagline development, and video helped translate the practice’s values into a warmer, more human digital experience for New York’s multicultural patient base. The resulting content library gave prospective patients a clearer sense of the providers, care environment, and expertise behind each service, supporting search performance, improving confidence, and creating a stronger path from online research to appointment conversion.
